When you call the Nurse Advice Line, you can also choose to get information about a health issue our Health Education Reference Library. Listen to a Health Literacy watch videos or hear pre-recorded discussions that answer questions about concerns like First Aid, Asthma and over 100 other health topics 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
You can call the Nurse Advice Line 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for any health related question. If you have specific questions about your ongoing treatment, you should call your Dr's office. Nurse Advice Line does not replace your Hospital or clinic.
When you first call, a Health Resource Coordinator will ask you questions about the reason for your call. Based on your need, you will be connected immediately to a nurse to give you the health advice you need.
Our nurses are trained professionals who can help with health related concerns or advise you on what to do next, including helping you to get urgent or emergency level care.
If possible, please have the member identification number when you call. If you’re calling for anothere member that is a member of your family or a friend, that person should be with you in case the advice nurse has questions about that member’s condition.
